Obituary: Irvin Anthony "Pete" Pitre, 90, native and resident of Houma, died Jan. 21, 1994.  Services Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, burial in St. Louis Cem. #3 in New Orleans.  He is survived by son, Irvin Joseph Pitre of Chalmette; daughter, Lena Mae Blanchard of Chalmette; brother, Obrey Pitre of Houma; sister, Ledie Trosclair of Jefferson Parish; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded by wife, Eveola Rhodes Pitre; parents, Frank and Marie Dupre Pitre; brothers, sisters and a grandchild.

Obituary:  Mrs. Eveola Rhodes Pitre, 82, a native of Little Caillou and resident of Houma, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1991.  A Mass was Saturday, followed by interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery in New Orleans.  She is survived by her husband, Irvin A. Pitre; a daughter Lea Mae Blanchard; a brother, Herbert Rhodes.  She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elcie Joseph and Felonise Henry Rhodes; a son, Frank Pitre; brothers, Cline, Elvince, Clifford, Wilford and Venice Rhodes and a sister, Josephine R. Garrett.

Lena May Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Wednesday, 1 September 2004:  Mrs. Lena Mae Pitre Blanchard, age 75, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 5:45 AM.  Beloved wife of Ivy A. Blanchard, Sr.  Mother of Loretta B. Hunter and Ivy A. Blanchard Jr.  Daughter of the late Irvin Pitre and Eveola Rhodes.  Sister of Irvin Pitre and the late Frank Pitre.  Survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Blanchard was a native of Houma and a long time resident of Chalmette, LA.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, Chalmette, LA on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 2:00 PM.  Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.  Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Pitre, aged 20 years, son of Eveola Rhodes and Irvin Pitre; brother of Mrs. Ivy Blanchard and Irvin Joseph Pitre; uncle of Loretia Blanchard.  Remains will be at the Laudumiey Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29, 1952, after 10 o'clock p.m.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Southern Seafood Co., and P. and J. Oyster House, are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the Laudumiey Funeral Home, 1225 North Rampart street, near Gov. Nicholls street, on Thursday, January 31, 1952, at 8:45 o'clock a.m., followed by mass at St. Louis Cathedral.  Interment in St. Louis cemetery No. 3.
