Obituary: Mrs. Eveola Rhodes Pitre, 82, a native of Little Caillou and resident of Houma, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1991. A Mass was Saturday, followed by interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery in New Orleans. She is survived by her husband, Irvin A. Pitre; a daughter Lea Mae Blanchard; a brother, Herbert Rhodes. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elcie Joseph and Felonise Henry Rhodes; a son, Frank Pitre; brothers, Cline, Elvince, Clifford, Wilford and Venice Rhodes and a sister, Josephine R. Garrett.

Survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Blanchard was a native of Houma and a long time resident of Chalmette, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, Chalmette, LA on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 2:00 PM. Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Oyster House, are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the Laudumiey Funeral Home, 1225 North Rampart street, near Gov. Nicholls street, on Thursday, January 31, 1952, at 8:45 o'clock a.m., followed by mass at St. Louis Cathedral. Interment in St. Louis cemetery No. 3.
