Visitation is from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial is in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 in New Orleans. He is survived by his son, Irvin Joseph Pitre of Chalmette; a daughter, Lena Mae Blanchard of Chalmette; a brother, Obrey Pitre of Houma; a sister, Ledie Trosclair of Jefferson Parish; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A Mass was Saturday, followed by interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery in New Orleans. She is survived by her husband, Irvin A. Pitre; a daughter Lea Mae Blanchard of Chalmette; and a brother, Herbert Rhodes of Lake Charles. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elcie Joseph and Felonise Henry Rhodes; a son, Frank Pitre; brothers, Cline, Elvince, Clifford, Wilford and Venice Rhodes; and a sister, Josephine R. Garrett.
