Obituary: Sun Journal (Lewiston, ME), Monday, 21 March 1966: Albert Petrie, 54, of 6505 California Avenue, Bell, Calif., formerly of Lewiston, died Sunday at a Bell hospital following a long illness. A native of Ashland he was born Feb. 21, 1912 the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Petrie. He came to Lewiston as a young man and lived here until moving to California about 16 years ago. Before leaving the community he had been employed at the Bonafide Mill at Lisbon. In California, until ill health forced his retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Well Company. He was a member of St. Rose de Lima Church of Bell where his funeral will be held on Wednesday morning. Surviving is his widow the former Lillian Gauthier of Lewiston, a daughter, Gloria Jean Petrie; two sisters, Mrs. George Thibeault, Old Town; Mrs. Phil Carrignan, Kittery, a step sister, Mrs. Fred Daigel, Washburn; two brothers, Clarence Petrie of Old Town and Lawrence of Bradley.

Joseph Petrie: The Lewiston Daily Sun (Lewiston, ME), Tuesday, 11 August 1942: Joseph Petrie, infant son of Albert and Lucienne Gautier Petrie of Spring street, Portland, who died Saturday at Ste. Marie's General hospital, was buried Monday afternoon at Switzerland Road Cemetery, Lewiston. Funeral services for the child were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday from the Pinette funeral parlors. Mr. and Mrs. Petrie formerly were residents of Lewiston.
