Viola Marie Peters: Detroit Free Press (Detroit, MI), Saturday, 1 January 1966: Mrs. Viola Kiraly, 38, of 2011 Fifth, Wyandotte, was found dead in her kitchen from a stab wound in the neck, police reported Friday afternoon. Her husband Julius, was seated nearby and a bloody hunting knife was found on the table. The Kiralys, according to Detective Sergeant Police John Shopp, had a long record of domestic troubles. Kiraly was released only two weeks ago on bond, awaiting trial on an assault and battery charge brought by his wife. He is now being questioned by police. The Kiralys have a boy, 8, and a girl, 10.
