Prince Edward Island

 

 

1798 Census

In April a census of the island was made by a land surveyor, Robert Fox, under command of Gov. Fanning.  It was printed in “Royal Gazette” with only heads of household, and numbers of males and females in three age ranges: <16, 16-60, 60+.
