St. Landry Parish, LA  -  1880 Census

Pitre Extractions

St. Landry Parish was formed in 1807.  Below are all the Pitre extractions for St. Landry Parish from the 1880 census.  Most were fairly legible though some were sloppy and therefore harder to read.  Part of district 38 is faded.  Much of district 44 is written first name/last name and without identifying numbers to denote different households, making it much more difficult to search.

All entries are from June/early July.  I’ve attempted to copy the entry as it appeared.  Please refer to the Pitre Descendant Tree for more detailed information on the family.
