Obituaries for the children:
Florentin Pitre: L'Impartial (PEI), Thursday, 31 May 1906: Died suddenly, 14 May, at Lennox Island, where he had been teaching for some time, Florentin Pitre, at the age of 58 years. The deceased was favorably known in this province. He was a renowned musician and had been the director of the church choir of St. Jacques for several years. Endowed with a sweet and affable character he was esteemed by all. His first marriage was to Marie Buote, from whom three daughters were born, one of whom is a nun in the United States. In his second marriage he married Julitte Gallant from whom five children were born. His funeral was held on the 17th at Egmont Bay attended by a large group of family and friends. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn him. To the family L'Impartial offers its condolences.
