Obituary Daily Herald (Arlington Heights, IL), 11 December 2007: William T. "Pete" Peters of Arlington Heights for 20+ years: A memorial service for William T. "Pete" Peters, 90, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Born Sept. 6, 1917, in Detroit, he passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007. Mr. Peters was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Friedlin); loving father of Iris Seefeldt, Karin (Skip) Sax and Thomas (Neriza) Peters; and grandfather of Tom Seefeldt, Scott Sax and Candice Peters. In lieu of flowers, memorials to NTRA Charities Permanent Disable Jockey Fund. Arrangements were made by the Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, Franklin Park.

Obituary: Detroit Free Press (Detroit, MI), Thursday, 14 November 2013: Linn, Victoria Elizabeth, October 14, 1921 - November 12, 2013. Born October 14, 1921 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Miriam Nahas. She was one of five siblings. Victoria, also known as the beloved Grandma Vicki, will be remembered most of all for her dedicated love to her family, wonderful Syrian dinners and for never refusing a good game of cards. She is survived by her husband James Linn and her two sons William (Jan) Peters and John "Jack" (Pat) Peters. She was also survived by six grandsons, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by everyone's life she touched. Funeral Mass, Saturday, November 16, 2013, 10:00 a.m. with an in state time of 9:30 a.m. at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Rochester Hills. The family will receive friends Friday 3-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Petere-Modetz Funeral home, Rochester. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HPH Hospice Foundation, Hudson, FL or the American Diabetes Association.
