Gerard Pitre: Miron Wilson Funeral Home: Gerard Pitre 1943-2020: The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at his home in Kapuskasing on Monday January 27, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Beloved father of Marc (Lynda) Pitre of Ottawa and Claire Pitre of Timmins. Loving grandfather of Chloe, Kevin, Jean-Marc (Carol) and Kristine (Adam) and dear great-grandfather of Tegan, Cassidy and Chase. He is survived by his siblings; Cecile (Bill), Rita (Gilles), Aline (late Phillippe), Paul, Larry (late Suzanne) Colette (Joe) and Therese (Raffi). He was predeceased by his mother Virginie and his stepfather Ben Chamberlain, his father William Pitre and his brother Roger and Ronald Chamberlain. As per his wishes cremation was held and a graveside service will take place at a later date in Timmins. The arrangements have been entrusted with the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, Timmins.
