Obituary:  Plattsburgh Press-Republican (NY), Sunday, 7 November 1993:  Plattsburgh - Eugene W. Peets, 81, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1993 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.  He was born Feb. 6, 1912, in Ellenburg, the son of Louis and Lena (Senecal) Peets.  Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Peets of Plattsburgh and Mrs. Roger (Joan) Schmidt of Smyrna, Del.; three brothers, Floyd Peets of Ellenburg Center and Henry Peets and Donald Peets of Plattsburgh; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  His wife, Mildred Peets, died in 1979, and a sister, Mabel Peets, also died earlier.  Calling hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 p.m, and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A vigil service will be held Tuesday evening.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Heart Fund.

Obituary:  Plattsburgh Press Republican (NY), Friday, 2 February 1979:  Plattsburgh - Mrs. Mildred Peets, 66, died Thursday morning in the CVPH Medical Center.  She was born July 14, 1912, in Ellenburg, the daughter of Peter and Agnes (Boyea) Yelle.  She is survived by her husband, Eugene Peets of Plattsburgh; two daughters, Miss Beverly Peets and Mrs. Joan Rollier, both of Plattsburgh; a brother, Clifton Yelle of Ellenburg; a sister, Mrs Nelson (Ida) Rollo of Johnson City, N.Y.; and two grandsons.  Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the O’Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home here.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Church.  Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in the spring.

Peets of Dover, Delaware, born in Ellenburg Center, New York, who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends.  She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Peets and Mildred Peets (Yelle); her grandparents, Alice, Peter Yelle, Lena and William Peets; her siblings, Henry Peets, Floyd Peets, Mable Peets, Audrey Varno and Maye Bow; her aunt Blanche Yelle; her uncle Donald Peets; and her cousins, Lester Peets and Gerald Peets.  She is survived by: her sister Joan A.; her brother-in-law Roger A. Schmidt of Las Vegas, NV; her nephews, Steve B. and Todd M. Schmidt; and her cousins, Larry Peets, Phyllis Duval, Diane Peets and Shirley Kelly.  Memorial donations may be offered to charity.
