Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Martin & Castille Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 8 a.m. until the services. He died Sunday at University Medical Center in Lafayette. He was a former employee with Harry Hebert Construction and Chank's Air Conditioning.

Reverend Chris Fusilier will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Din Din, a resident of Scott, was the daughter of the late Ulinor Pitt, Jr. and the former Palmyre Carriere. She is survived by her children, Winnie Sonnier (Johnny), Rebecca Richard (Kenneth), Denean Joubert (Douglas), and Karina Sonnier; stepchildren, Johnny Saucier (Linda), Janet McCartney, Billie McCartney, Jr. (Joy), Gerald McCartney, and April Thomas (Eric); numerous grand, great, and great great grandchildren, and one sister, Jeri Landry (Ronnie). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronnie McCartney; son, Damyn Bergeron; three grandchildren, Joseph Bellard, Ronald Bellard, Jr., Erica Joubert; step granddaughter, J'lyn McCartney; son in law, Blane Sonnier, and one brother, Russell Pitt. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Jarred Landry, Dustin Joubert, Evan Guidry, Josh Guidry, Johnny "J.J." Richard, and Damian Brasseaux. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicholas Brasseaux, Eric Thomas, Joey Richard, and Jordan Perry.
