Obituary:  Houma Courier (LA), Tuesday, 10 October 2006:  Raoul P. "Pete" Pitre Sr., 84, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux.  Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.  He is survived by four sons, Raoul "Chuck" Pitre Jr., Lawrence Pitre, Aubrey Pitre and Robert Pitre and wife, Linda L. Pitre; two daughters, Donna Pitre and Mary Pitre; two brothers, Leander Pitre and Marville Pitre; one sister, Marie P. Andras; and three granddaughters, Lacey Anne Pitre, Vanessa Lynn Pitre and Ashley Lynn Pitre.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Pitre and Rita Gros Pitre; four brothers, Edgar Pitre Jr., John Pitre, Joseph Pitre and Maurice Pitre; and three sisters, Odile Pitre, Lucille Pitre and Mable Pitre.  He was a U.S. World War II veteran, a member of the VFW and American Legion and a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus.  He was an usher at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.  Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 28 March 2007:  Edna Welch Pitre Beavers, 76, a native of Hackberry and resident of Thibodaux, died of cancer at 1:15 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007.  A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux.  She is survived by four sons, Raoul Pitre Jr., Aubrey Pitre, Lawrence Pitre and Robert Pitre; two daughters, Donna Pitre and Mary Pitre; two brothers, Amos Welch Jr. and Ernest "Tot" Welch; one sister, Leatha Mae Duhon; and three grandchildren, Lacey Pitre, Vanessa Pitre and Ashley Pitre.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos Welch Sr. and Oreah Gauthreaux Welch; two brothers, Anderson Welch and Vernie Welch; and one sister, Wilda Welch Ravia.  She was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.  She donated her body to Louisiana State University Medical Center.

Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.  Funeral services are being held privately.  She is survived by her brothers, Raoul Pitre Jr., Aubrey Pitre, Lawrence Pitre and wife, Jenny, and Robert Pitre and wife, Linda; a sister, Mary Pitre and husband, Randy Martin; companion, Frank Breaux; nieces, Lacey Pitre, Vanessa Lynn Pitre, Ashley Lynn Pitre; and one grandniece, Libby Grace Pitre.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Raoul Pitre Sr. and Edna Welch Pitre.  Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
 

Aubrey Joseph Pitre:  The Courier (Houma, LA), Tuesday, 17 August 2021:  Thibodaux - Aubrey Joseph Pitre, 65, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at 6:39 PM.  Born June 24, 1956, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.  He is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Lynn Pitre and Ashley Lynn Pitre; siblings, Mary Pitre (Randy Martin), Lawrence Pitre (Jenny), Robert Pitre (Linda), Raoul Pitre, Jr.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Raoul Pitre, Sr. and Edna Welch; sister, Donna Pitre.  He loved spending time with his daughters, going boat riding, fishing and going to the camp.  He also enjoyed karaoke and music. Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
