Obituary: The Daily Item (Lynn, MA), Tuesday, 19 June 1951: Ralph F. Peters of 36 Orne Street, Salem, custodian of the Old Town House, Salem, and former employee at the North Shore Babies Hospital, died today at Salem Hospital. A native of Peabody, he was a member of Starr King Lodge, A. F. & A. M. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Eva L. (Upton) Peters; his mother, Mrs. Helen (Maloney) Peters; two sons, Paul F. Peters and Brent U. Peters, both of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. M. F. O'Brien of Peabody and Mrs. Charles Murch of Salem. Services will be Thursday at 2 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, Salem. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Obituary: The Daily Item (Lynn, MA), Thursday, 5 November 1987: Salem - Mrs. Eva (Upton) Peters, 87, 13 Essex St., died Tuesday at home after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Ralph F. Peters. Born in Lynn on Oct. 10, 1900, she was the daughter of the late Arthur C. and Mabel (Hare) Upton. She was educated in the Lynn schools and attended the I.B.M. School, Boston. At the time of her retirement she was employed at the G.T.E. Sylvania Corp. facility on Boston Street, Salem. Prior to that she was employed at the Field and Cowler insurance brokerage firm. She was a member of Grace Church, Episcopal, Salem Chapter 98 of Eastern Star, Bethlehem Shrine 5, Protestant Women's Guild, American Association of Retired Persons, Golden Agers, and the Women's Republican Club of Salem. She leaves two sons, Paul F. Peters and Brent W. Peters, both of Salem; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Doris E. Vickery of Lynn; several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Gladys M. Bainbridge, Arthur A. Upton and Albert G. Upton. A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Grace Church, Episcopal, with arrangements by the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Salem.
