Obituary:  Syracuse Post Standard (Syracuse, NY), 31 July 1971:  Pliny C. Peet, 88, formerly of 943 Ackerman Ave. and Loretto Rest, died yesterday at St. Joseph's Hospital.  A native of Parishville, Mr. Peet was a resident of Syracuse more than 50 years.  He was employed by the Syracuse Board of Education for 25 years at the Edward Smith School.  Mr. Peet was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Therese Church.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Davis, and a son, Clayton E. Peet; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Private services will be at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Gaynor-Maslyn Funeral Home, and at 9 a.m. in St. Therese Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.

Obituary:  Post Standard (Syracuse, NY), 25 January 1969:  Mrs. Anna Belle Peet, 82, of 943 Ackerman Ave., died yesterday at Brooks Nursing Home after a long illness.  Born at St. Regis Falls, she lived in Syracuse 60 years and was a member of the Golden Age Club.  Surviving are her husband, Pliny C. Peet; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Davis; a son, Clayton Peet; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Gaynor-Maslyn Funeral Home, 119 South Ave., and at 9 a.m. in St. Therese's Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow at the funeral home.

Clayton Edward Peet:  Syracuse Herald Journal (Syracuse, NY), Sunday, 29 June 1997:  Clayton E. Peet, 79, of Hoover Avenue, Syracuse, died Friday in Community-General Hospital.  A native of Saskatchewan Province, Canada, he lived in Central New York most of his life.  Mr. Peet served in World War II and retired from the Toledo Scale Co., where he was a salesman.  His wife Dorothy died in 1987.  Surviving are a son, Gary Hill of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Sylvia Brand of East Syracuse; a grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.  Services are 9 a.m. Monday from Forani & Cline Funeral Home.  Burial is in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.  Calling hours are 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, East Syracuse.  Contributions may be made to the Nedrow Fire Department.
