(Stoney) Pitre at Raceland, La., on Wednesday, March 26, 1975 at 7:05 o'clock p.m., husband of Beulah Punch Pitre, father of Perry, O'Neil, Ted, Larry, and Chris Pitre, Mrs. Yvonne Chiasson, Susan, Polly, Dolly, and Holly Pitre, brother of Mrs. Lucille Trosclair, also the late Jules, John, Charlie, Tommy, Louis and Nolan Pitre, also Mrs. Euna Autin, and Mrs. Bessie Foret; son of the late Charles Pitre and Julia Dantin; also survived by 6 grandchildren; age 54 years; a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Lockport, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Falgout Funeral Home, Inc., Lockport, La., on Monday, March 31, 1975 at 10:45 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, La., at 11 o'clock a.m.  Interment in Church Cemetery.  Visitation after 10 a.m. Sunday.  Arrangements by Falgout.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), October 1991:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport for Beulah Punch Pitre, 67, a native and resident of Lockport who died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday (13th).  Visitation will be from 5-11 p.m. Thursday and from 7 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport.  Interment will be in the church cemetery. She was the mother of Perry, Oneil Jr., Larry, Tod and Chris Pitre, Yvonne Chaisson, Susan Bessonette, Polly Savoie, Dolly Pitre and Holly Foret; sister of Warren and Leroy Punch, Stella Breaux, Mary Hoseapple and Velma Punch.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Oneil J. Pitre; parents, Nita Bergeron and Sylvester Punch: brothers, Odelie, Clement, Cleveland, Nolan, Edmond, Manny and Ecton Punch, Edna Rogers and Verna Vedros.  Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of arrangements.

Perry Joseph Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), July 2000:  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport for Perry Joseph Pitre, 55, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, who died at 7:21 a.m. July 7, 2000.  Burial was at the church cemetery.  He was the brother of O'Neil Jr., Larry, Ted and Chris Pitre, Yvonne Chaisson, Susan Bessette, Polly Savoie, Dolly Blanchard and Holly Foret.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Beulah Punch and O'Neil Pitre Sr.  He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.

 

O'Neil Pitre:  Daily Comet (LA), June 2018:  O'Neil J. Pitre, 71, a native and resident of Lockport, passed on Saturday, June 2, 2018.  Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  He is survived by his wife, Doris G. Pitre; son, Ross Pitre (Christine); daughter, Neeley Pitre; grandchildren, Ethan and Elise Pitre, Zachary and Nico Cardinale; brothers, Ted, Chris and Lorry Pitre; and sisters, Polly Foret, Dolly and Holly Pitre.  He was preceded in death by his parents, O'neil Pitre Sr. and Beulah Pitre; brother, Perry Pitre; and sisters, Yvonne Chiasson and Susan Bassinette.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Susan Ann Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport for Susan "Sue" Bessonette, 48, a native and resident of Lockport, who died July 6, 2001.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church.  She will be cremated.  She was the companion of Scott Ford; mother of Wiltz Leger of New Iberia and Chad Sapia of Raceland; and sister of O'Neil Jr., Larry, Ted and Chris Pitre, Yvonne Chaisson, Polly Savoie, Dolly Blanchard and Holly Foret.  She is also survived by three grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, O'Neil Sr. and Beulah Punch Pitre; and brother, Perry Pitre.  She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.  She enjoyed bingo and candle making.  Falgout Funeral Homes of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
