Obituary: Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), October 1991: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport for Beulah Punch Pitre, 67, a native and resident of Lockport who died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday (13th). Visitation will be from 5-11 p.m. Thursday and from 7 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She was the mother of Perry, Oneil Jr., Larry, Tod and Chris Pitre, Yvonne Chaisson, Susan Bessonette, Polly Savoie, Dolly Pitre and Holly Foret; sister of Warren and Leroy Punch, Stella Breaux, Mary Hoseapple and Velma Punch. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oneil J. Pitre; parents, Nita Bergeron and Sylvester Punch: brothers, Odelie, Clement, Cleveland, Nolan, Edmond, Manny and Ecton Punch, Edna Rogers and Verna Vedros.
