Notes for Olivier Lepitre:
- The baptism entries at Nicolet, Quebec have only an Olivier Sulpice Lepitre born 18th April 1837, who died 30th April, aged 12 days. I could not locate a twin or another Olivier, however, the marriage record (below) and the census records indicate that an Olivier, son of Jean Olivier Lepitre & his first wife Emelie Bastarache, aged about 24, married Adelaide Poisson in January 1862. Theoretically there could have been a birth between the marriage date of October 1835 and Olivier Sulpice's birth in April 1837, or between his birth and the birth of Emelie in February 1839, I have not been able to locate such a record. Given those dates, the fact that the marriage and these baptisms were recorded at St. Jean Baptiste, Nicolet, and the census entries below, I have used 18 April 1838 as Olivier's birthdate. It would also seem that Olivier & Eva had no children, as children appear only in the 1901 census and then disappear in the 1911, which is probably an enumerator error.
