Beulah Josephine Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), 20 December 2004:  Beulah Josephine Pitre Poche', 90, a native of Houma and resident of Bridge City, died at 11:34 a.m. Dec. 18, 2004.  Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.  She is survived by her daughter, Mabel Landry of Bridge City; brothers, Michael and Leroy Pitre, both of Houma; sister, Ethel Charpentier of Houma; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Joseph Poche'; parents, Norris and Alcida Trahan Pitre; son, Carroll Poche'; brother, Harold Pitre; and sisters, Lois Carlos, Willa Mae Taylor and Marguerite Solito.  Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
 

Harold Joseph Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Friday, 14 May 1993:  Harold Joseph Pitre at East Jefferson General Hospital on Thursday, May 13, 1993 at 10:16 o'clock AM.  Beloved husband of Elsie Newman Pitre.  Son of Alcida Trahan Pitre and the late Norris Pitre.  Brother of Beulah Poche, Marguerite Solito, Ethel Charpentier, Lois Carlos, Michael Pitre, Leroy Pitre and the late Willa Mae Taylor.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Aged 75 years.  A native of Franklin, La. and resident of Metairie, La.  Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of American Legion Post No. 0125, employees of Southeastern Motor Freight, and Friends of Bond Crown Co-- of Continental Can Company are invited to attend the funeral from the Jefferson Chapel of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, on Saturday, May 15, 1993 at 11:00 o'clock AM.  Interment in St. Francis De Sales No. 2, Houma, La. at 1:00 o'clock PM.  Visitation on Friday, May 14, 1993 after 6:00 o'clock PM until 10:00 o'clock PM and on Saturday after 9:00 o'clock AM until service times.

Ethel Rita Pitre:  Ethel Pitre Charpentier, 90, a native and resident of Houma, died at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014.  Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.  She is survived by her son, Charles "Poug" and wife, Lois Charpentier; daughters, Beverly Cressoine, and Alice and husband, Myron "Moon" LeBoeuf; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Weaser "Hood" Joseph Charpentier; parents, Norris and Alcida Trahan Pitre; brothers, Harold, Michael and Leroy Pitre; and sisters, Beulah Poche, Willa Mae Taylor, Margarette Solito and Lois Carlos.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pitre; parents, Norris Pitre and Alcida Trahan Pitre; brothers, Harold Pitre and Leroy "Bo" Pitre; and sisters, Beulah Poche, Willa Mae Taylor, Lois Carlos and Marguerite Solito.  Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma with the funeral service to follow.  Burial will be at St. Francis #2 Cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.  He is survived by his wife, Annie Lee LeCompte Pitre; three daughters, Myra Adams and husband, John, of Gray, Connie Hebert and husband, Joel, and Denise Marmande and husband, Al, of Houma; one brother, Michael Pitre of Houma; one sister, Ethel Charpentier of Houma; seven grandchildren, Gregory Adams, Jeffrey Adams, Jennifer Landry, Travis Hebert, Sarah Zeringue, Al Marmande II and Eric Marmande; and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Noris J. Pitre and Alcida Trahan Pitre; one brother, Harold Pitre; and four sisters, Beulah Poche', Marguerite Solito, Willa Mae Taylor and Lois Carlos.  He was a retired wireline operator with Otis-Halliburton.  He was a volunteer at Southland Market Place, St. Bernadette Catholic Church and Annual Retreatment Manresa Retreat Home.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.  He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Bernadette Church Building Fund.  Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
