Obituaries for the children:
Marie Angele Pitre: 1942 - 2021. Died on January 3, 2021, at the age of 78. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of my mother, Angele Pitre, a kind, generous, strong and courageous lady. She was the daughter of the late Hilaire Pitre and the late Bertha Bujold. She leaves behind her beloved Jean-Guy Riopel as well as her children: Stephane and Marie-Helene (Luc); her granddaughters: Marilou and Marie-Michele, Real D'Amours, Jean-Francois Drouin, her sisters Denise and Helene as well as many relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for the excellent care provided. Your marks of sympathy can result in a donation to the Mathieu-Froment-Savoie house. Following her wishes, a last tribute will be paid to her later in Gaspesie, her native region.

Mr. Emile Pitre, retired professor at Barthelemy-Joliette, son of the late
Hilaire Pitre and the late Bertha Bujold, residing at Joliette. The
deceased is survived by his brothers and sisters: Julien, Irene, Angele,
Denise, Helene; several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be celebrated at a later date at the Cap d'Espoir
church in the Gaspe Peninsula. Funeral direction Garceau and Garceau
Inc.
