Obituary:  Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Tuesday, 4 June 1991:  Funeral services for Mr. Murry J. Pitre, 69, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park.  Mr. Pitre, a resident of Opelousas, died at 4:10 p.m. Monday in Opelousas General Hospital.  He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army, a retired merchant seaman and a member of the Jacques De Molay Masonic Lodge of New Orleans #389 F&AM.  Survivors include: his wife, Vivian Madden Pitre of Opelousas; two stepsons, Michael Laverty of Shreveport and Kevin Laverty of Lafayette; two daughters, Mulis Ann Doucet of Rayne and Suzanne Lyons of Opelousas; two brothers, Wilfred and Herbert Pitre, both of Opelousas; a sister, Mrs. Millian Pitre Johnson of Opelousas; two grandchildren and a step-grandchild.  Visiting hours will be held from 4-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.  Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
