Obituary: Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Saturday, 11 October 1913: The Late Mrs. Peters - The death occurred on Monday, after a short illness of Mrs. Maurice Peters, at the advanced age of 88 years. Deceased was a native of Rustico, but with her husband removed to Summerside in 1866 where she has since resided. There are left to mourn besides her husband, now in his 85th year, three sons and two daughters. The funeral took place yesterday morning at nine o'clock to the R. C. Cemetery and was largely attended.
