Obituary:  The Toronto Star (Toronto, ONT), Tuesday, 20 April 1954:  Mosie, Peters - At the Wellesley hospital, Toronto, on Tues., April 20, 1954 Peters Mosie of Charlottetown, PEI, beloved husband of Mary Mosie, and father of Mrs. Amos Doucette (Claire).  Funeral in Charlottetown, PEI.

- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Thursday, 22 April 1954:  Peters - At Toronto, Tuesday, April 20, 1954, Moise Peters of Charlottetown in his 69th year.  His remains will arrive in the City Thursday evening and will first be conveyed to the Hennessey Funeral Home and later to the residence of his son Alfred Peters, Upper Queen St. from where the funeral will be held Saturday morning at 8:45 to St. Dunstan's Basilica.  Interment in the Catholic cemetery.

Kelly), St. John, N.B., Alfred, Charlottetown, P.E.I., Clara (Mrs. Amos Doucette), Toronto, and Ida (Mrs. R. A. MacNeill), Woodstock, Ont.  Resting at Bates and Maddocks funeral chapel until 9 p.m. Wed., March 18.  Funeral service and interment St. Dunstan's Basilica, Charlottetown on Saturday.  St. John and Charlottetown papers please copy.

- The Guardian (Charlottetown, PEI), Thursday, 19 March 1959:  Peters - At Welsey Hospital, Toronto, on March 17, 1959, Mrs. Moise Peters of Charlottetown, mother of Alfred Peters, aged 74 years.  Her remains will arrive in the City on Friday evening and will rest at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the funeral will take place on Monday morning at 8:45 to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for Requiem High Mass at 9 o'clock.  Interment in the Catholic cemetery.

- The Guardian (Charlottetown, PEI), Tuesday, 12 May 1959:  In loving memory of Mrs. Moses Peters, wife of the late Mr. Moses Peters, passed away in the Wellesley Hospital in Toronto March 17, 1959.  Living at this time with Mr. and Mrs. A. Doucette (daughter Claire), 112 Avenue Road.

Mary Clara Peters:  The Toronto Star (Toronto, ONT), Friday, 28 July 1989:  Doucette, Claire - After a long illness at home, died at the Etobicoke General Hospital on Thursday, July 27, 1989, Claire Doucette, in her 73rd year, beloved wife of Amos.  Dear mother of Joseph and his wife Heather of Waterloo, Marie Carroll of Pickering and Phyllis (Mrs. Bob Scriver) of Bramalea.  Sister of Ida (Mrs. Ron McNeil) of London.  Sadly missed by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Doucette is resting at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial from St. Benedict's Church on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.  Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

 

Lawrence Peters:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Wednesday, 19 May 1943:  Peters - In the Charlottetown Hospital May 18, 1943, Lawrence J. Peters beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Peters, Upper Queen Street, in his 23rd year.  Funeral notice later.

- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 21 May 1943:  Funeral today - The funeral of Lawrence Peters will be held from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moses Peters, Upper Queen Street this morning at 10:45 to St. Dunstan's Basilica.  Burial will be in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
