Mr. Pitre is resting at the Funeral Home of Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd., Mississauga on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 14, 1996 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.

She was born 52 years ago in St. Alexis, Que. She has been in Niagara Falls since 1960. Her husband, Herbert, died in 1957. Her mother, Mrs. Alexander Pitre, and three sisters, Evangeline, Elizabeth and Laura, predeceased her also. Surviving are: her father, Alexander Pitre, St. Alexis, Que.; four daughters, Mrs. Willard (Shirley) Arseneault, Mrs. Anthony (Connie) Zappitelli and Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Chiasson of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Phyllis Desrochers of Campbellton, N.B.; three sons, Robert and Terrance of Niagara Falls and Richard of Vancouver. Also surviving are: four brothers, Joseph and George Pitre of Quebec, Peter Pitre of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., and John Pitre of Toronto; five sisters, Lucy Lambert of Quebec, Bernadette Stone, Bertha Turgeon and Eva Chiasson of Toronto and Jean Thompson of Niagara Falls; and 23 grandchildren. Prayers will be said at the McLaren and Henry funeral home today at 7 p.m. Services will be in the chapel Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Fairview cemetery.
