Orgeron, 88, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Sunday, March 1, at 2:10 p.m.  She is survived by her son, Peter Orgeron and wife Donna Turknett Orgeron; brother, Guilmo Pitre; sister, Elda P. Vedros; grandchildren, Gillon Orgeron Jr., Peter Orgeron Jr. and Cherie Michelle Orgeron; and great-grandchild, Hayden T. Orgeron.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Pierre Orgeron; parents, Rameaux and Paviola Duet Pitre; and son, Gillon Orgeron.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Ladies Altar Society.  She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La.  Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.  Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.

Guilmo Joseph Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet:  Guilmo Joseph Pitre, 89, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off, died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.  Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Home.  Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  He is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Duet Pitre; one son, Kim Pitre and wife, Pixie; two daughters, Cindy Williams and husband, Herman Williams Jr., and Holly Bouzigard and husband, Kelly; one sister, Elda P. Vedros; five grandchildren, Ranata Angelette, Lerin Rogers, Chord Bouzigard, Ryder Pitre and Ian Bouzigard; and three great-grandchildren, Kaden Angelette, Kenley Angelette and Quinn Rogers.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramo and Paviola Pitre; and one sister, Melva P. Orgeron.  He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.   Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
