Obituary:  Chicago Tribune (Chicago, IL), Friday, 6 January 1922:  Le Pitre - Louis Le Pitre, Jan. 4, aged 89 years, beloved husband of the late Laura and father of Lily, resident of Chicago eighty-three years.  Funeral Saturday, 9 a.m. from residence, 3215 Michigan av., to Notre Dame church, mass 10 a.m.  Interment Mount Carmel.  Kindly omit flowers.
