Notes for Elizabeth Margaret Daigle:
Obituary: Summerside Guardian (PEI), Wednesday, 31 October 1934: There passed peacefully away at her home in Rolla Bay on October 6th, Mrs. Margaret Peters; widow of the late John W. Peters, at the age of 69 years. Mrs. Peters enjoyed very good health until two months previous to her death, when she was stricken with a paralytic stroke from which she did not recover. During her illness she was surrounded by her family and friends, but all that loving care and tender nursing could do was of no avail, and on Saturday morning Death reached out his hand and claimed her for her own. She was frequently visited during her illness by her pastor Rev. A. L. Sinnott who administered to her the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church, of which she was a faithful member. There are left to mourn her loss, 2 sons and 2 daughters, also 2 sisters and 2 brothers John C. at home, Joseph of Watertown, Mass., Gertrude, Mrs. John Kasabuski of Gloucester, Mass.; Mary, Mrs. James Revell of Charlottetown; Annie and Catherine of Gloucester, Mass., Neil of Gloucester, Mass., and Charles, Souris West. Her funeral, which was largely attended, took place Monday morning to St. Alexes Church. Funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. F. L. Mullally who also conducted services at the grave. The pallbearers were Alex White, John Doyle, Edward Peters, E. Perry, Peter D. Peters, Peter Burke. May her soul rest in peace.
