Obituary: The Windsor Star (ONT), Tuesday, 17 August 2004: Pitre, Helene (nee Lemire), 84 years, peacefully, on August 16, 2004. Formerly of Solidarity Towers and late of Tecumseh. Beloved wife of the late Walter (1983). Loving mother of Annette and husband Bill Kelly, of Tecumseh; Pat and wife Betty Pitre, of Windsor. Daughter of the late Alfred and Lena (nee Parent). Dear grandma of Debbie and John Nayduk; Susan and Marco Pellerito; Krista and Joe Corchis; Kerry Pitre; Kim Pitre, and Kyla Hager (Chris). Dear great-meme of Zachary; Marisa, Hannah, Samantha, Jesse, Kelsey, Brady and Kameron. Dear sister of Josephine Lefaive; Azilda (Dot) Lessard; Duff (Margaret) Lemire and the late Leocade Lepage and Leonie Renaud; and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Helene was a member of the Solidarity Retirees Club and the Crescent Bowlerettes. Special thanks to the caregivers at Brouillette Manor. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor/Essex County would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Helene Pitre in the Marcotte Heritage Forest.
