- Malone Evening Telegram (NY), Saturday, 17 April 1937:  Piercefield - The sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. Amos Labarge in the recent death of her father in a Montreal hospital.  He was buried last Saturday at Holy Name Cemetery at Faust.

Obituary:  Malone NY Evening Telegram (NY), Friday, 23 September 1932:  Piercefield - Death again has entered our community.  The passing of Mrs. Sigefroid Pitt Thursday morning was a shock to her many friends.  Mrs. Pitt had been in failing health for the past three months.  She made her home in Montreal until her health began to decline.  She came here to live with her daughter, Mrs. Amos Laberge.  The funeral will be conducted from St. Paul's church, Piercefield, on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.  Burial will be in Holy Name cemetery, Faust.  Mrs. Pitt is survived by her husband, Sigefroid Pitt, one daughter, Mrs. Amos Laberge, Piercefield, George & Wilfred, Montreal.

- Malone NY Evening Telegram (NY), Friday, 23 September 1932: Tupper Lake - Saturday morning at St. Paul's Church, Piercefield, will take place the funeral of Mrs. Mary Louise Titre, who died Wednesday night at Piercefield, following an extended illness.  Mrs. Titre came from her Montreal home six weeks ago to visit her daughter, Mrs. Amos LaBarge at Piercefield.  Dr. Roy Bury attending physician, gave cause of death as a complication of diseases.  She is survived by her husband, Sigfroid Titre and two sons, Geo. and Wilfred, all of Montreal, and one daughter above mentioned.

 

Obituaries for the children:

Beatrice Pitre:  Adirondack Daily Enterprise (NY), Monday, 12 November 1973, Saranac Lake:   Beatrice La Barge - Tupper Lake - Mrs. Amos (Beatrice) LaBarge, 74. of 21 Berkley Ave died Friday at 1:15pm in Mercy General Hospital.  Mrs. LaBarge was born in Valleyfield, Que., the daughter of Sigefroid and Marie Louise Robillard Pitre.  She had made her home in Tupper Lake for the past 42 years.  Mr. and Mrs. LaBarge operated the tourist cabins at the top of Raymond Hill for many years and sold them a few years ago to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Morin.  Survivors include: her husband, one brother, George Pitre, of Montreal, and several nieces and nephews.  The funeral service was held this morning at 10 o clock at Holy Name Church. Burial was in Holy Name Cemetery.
