Pitre Sr., beloved husband of Agnes Bourgeois and father of Jules J. Jr., Raymond and Norman Pitre, brother of Mrs. Sidney Autin, Mrs. Clarence Trosclair, Oniel Pitre, Mrs. Felix Foret and the late John, Charles, Thomas, Louis and Nolan Pitre, son of the Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Pitre, also survived by four grandchildren; age 65 years; a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from the Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, La., on Monday, September 27, 1965, at 10 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Thibodaux, La.  Interment in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Lafourche, La.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Raceland, La., in charge.

Obituary:  16 April 1992:  A Mass of Christian burial took place today at St. Charles Borromeo Church for Agnes Bourgeois Pitre, 88, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Norman Pitre; sister of Charles Bourgeois, Anise Foret and Emily Cheramie.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Pitre; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Bourgeois; sons, Jules and Raymond Pitre; brothers, Abel, Paul, Noah, Wilson, Blaize and Louis Bourgeois.  Falgout Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pitre passed away on August 11, 2007 at Canon Hospice.  Beloved husband of Jacqueline Petit.  Beloved Godfather of Amy Galland.  Son of the late Agnes Bourgeois and Jules J. Pitre, Sr.  Brother of the late Jules Pitre, Jr. and Raymond Pitre.  He is survived by nieces and nephews.  He will be missed and lovingly remembered by Tim Beam and Kenneth, Tiffany, Megan and Victoria Galland.  Mr. Pitre was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2409.  He was also an attorney for 40 years and St. Charles Parish Assistant District Attorney for 12 years.  Age 84 years, a native of Raceland, LA and resident of Luling, LA for the past 58 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2409 and members of Louisiana Bar Association are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, LA on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11 AM.  Interment Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA.  Visitation take place at the Church on Tuesday beginning at 9 AM.  Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.  Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pitre, Jr., a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA, on Wednesday, November 7, 1990 at 10:15 AM.  Age 62 years.  Son of Agnes Marie Bourgeois Pitre and the late Jules J. Pitre, Sr.  Father of Nolan J., and Michael J. Pitre, Carole Ann George, and Suzanne Marie Crawford.  Brother of Norman J. Pitre and the late Raymond J. Pitre.  Also survived by 1 grandchild Christie Gaudet.  Preceded in death by Dora Mae Bandy Pitre by first marriage and Gloria Jackie Pitre by second marriage.  He was retired from the United States Air Force and Occidental Chemical Corporation, Taft, LA.  He was a member of American Legion Post 11 and The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Longview, TX.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Religious services will be at Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, LA on Monday, November 12, 1990 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 10 AM.  Interment at St. Charles Borromeo Church Cemetery.  Visitation at Landry Funeral Home on Sunday, November 11, 1990 from 6 PM until 10 PM and Monday from 8 AM until funeral time.  Landry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pitre, 45, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of St. Charles Parish who died Wednesday at 6:25 p.m.  Visitation has been scheduled from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, with interment in the St. Charles Cemetery.  He was the son of Agnes Bourgeois Pitre; father of Patrick Pitre; and brother of Jules and Norman Pitre.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jules J. Pitre.  Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
