Obituary: Pitre (Flavien) - At Laval town, 26 August 1971 at the age of 73 years passed away Mr. Flavien Pitre, husband of Adelaide Marcotte; residing 3040 - 8th street, Chomedey. The funeral will take place Monday 30 August. The funeral convoy will leave the salons J.M.D. Cyr Inc., Chomedey, at 10 a.m. to arrive at Ste. Philomene church of Chateauguay, where the service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. and then to the cemetery of the same place, for burial. Relatives and friends are invited to attend without further invitation.

Son of Flavien Pitre and Adélaïde Marcotte; husband of Barbara St James; brother of Jean, Cecile, Jeanine, Denise, Denis, Gerard, Maurice and Claudette; father of Liane (Steve Briggs), Michel (Danielle Brien) and Corinne, cherished grandfather of Lea, Shawn (Taylor), Benjamin (Jessica), Danick, Maurice, Annabelle, Francis, Karl, Alex, Vanessa, Sasha and Barbara-Ann. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved and missed beyond measure. His absence will be deeply felt. Our family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this difficult time. Denis - 1935-2017 On August 31, 2017, at the Centre Hospital of Granby, Leclerc site, at the age of 82, passed away Mr. Denis Pitre, husband of Mrs. Francine Fortin. Besides his wife Francine, he is survived by his children: Martine (Yvon Alix), Michele (Rene Blais), Jean-Luc (Nadine Martin). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Audrey-Maude (Choko Abejo), Louis-David (Nathalie), Tristan and Gabrielle, his 2 great-grandchildren, as well as brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Cremation took place at the Girardot and Menard crematorium. The family will greet you on Sunday, September 10 from 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Girardot & Menard Funeral Complex. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 10 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the complex, followed by the installation at the columbarium of the same location. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the CHG Foundation, the Alzheimer Society of Granby and Region or Parkinson Quebec.

sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, parents and friends.
