Obituary: La Presse (Montreal, QUE), Thursday, 28 November 1968: Pitre (Alexandre) - At St. Lambert, the 26 November 1968, at the age of 79 years 4 months, died Mr. Alexandre Pitre, husband of the late Angelina Mallette, residing at 385 Notre Dame, St. Lambert. He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. L. Palmierie (Valentine), Mrs. L. Hebert (Madeleine), Fernande; his sons, Lorenzo, Lucien, Wilfrid, Gerard, Roland, Roger, and several grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday, the 29th. The funeral procession will depart from the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, St. Lambert, at 9:50 a.m., to the parish church of St. Lambert, where the service will be celebrated at 10 a.m., and from there to the cemetery of St. Remi de Napierville, place of burial. Relatives and friends are asked to attend without further invitation.

Marie Valentine Pitre: Palmieri-Pitre, Valentine, 1916-2005. At Valleyfield, 16 December 2005, passed away Madame Valentine Pitre, wife of the late Lionel Palmieri. She is survived by her sons Pierre and Gilles (Edith Menard), grandchildren Michele, Patrick and Mylene, great-grandsons Samuel and William, her brother Roger, sister Madeleine, also relatives and friends. The funeral will be held Thursday 22 December at 11 a.m., in St. Sacrement church, Lachine. The family will receive condolences a half-hour before the ceremony at the church. In place of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Direction: Urgel Bourgie.
