Joseph Roger Peters:  Daily Gleaner (Fredericton, NB), Saturday, 25 July 1998:  Peters, Joseph Roger 'Joe'.  The death of Joseph Roger 'Joe' Peters of Maquapit Lake, husband of Catherine 'Kay' (Geddie) Peters, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 23, 1998.  Born in Duvar, PEI, he was the son of the late Oliver and Elizabeth (Gallant) Peters.  He was employed with DND as an Electrical Mechanical Engineer from 1956 to 1995.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #93, Oromocto, and was a member of "Hooked on Camping".  He is survived by his wife Catherine 'Kay', one son, William 'Bill' and his wife Theresa of Oromocto West, one daughter, Sherrie-Lynn McFawn and her husband Tony of Maugerville, five grandchildren, Bradley, Darcy and Angie Peters, Tanya and Julie MacFawn, chosen family, Don and Donna Robinson and their children, Ryan and Tyler of Oromocto, three sisters, Rita Lanthorne of Oldham, NS, Stella Gallant of Central Bedeque, PEI and Eva Richards of Summerside, PEI; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as by special friends, Lew and Glady Kyle, Rod and June Randall, Lyle and Amy Gee and Fred and Althea Kelly.  Resting at the Oromocto Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Saturday, July 25, 1998 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Don Savoie as celebrant.  Pallbearers will be David Faubert, Brad Peters, Darcy Peters, Tony MacFawn, Lyle Gee and Don Robinson.  Interment will take place in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.

Eva Pitre:  East Prince Funeral Home (Summerside, PEI)Eva Mary Richard, Born In: Duvar, Prince Edward Island, Canada; Born: November 8th, 1932; Passed in: Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada; Passed on: December 9th, 2010:  The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 of Eva Mary Richard (nee Peters) of Summerside and formerly of Duvar , P.E.I., aged 78 years.  Eva was born on Nov. 8, 1932 in Duvar, P.E.I. to her late parents, Oliver and Elizabeth Peters.  Loving mother of Barry (Patty), Elaine and Donna all of Summerside, Steve (Sharon) of Stratford, Bob (Penny) of Pictou, N.S., Mike (Donna) of Souris and David (Cliff) of Moncton, N.B.  Also lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Eva was predeceased by sisters Rita and Stella and brothers Burt, Roger, Pius, William and Leo.  By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held.  Memorial donations in Eva's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund may be made at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside
