Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Tuesday, 22 July 1958 - On Monday, July 21, 1958, at 8:15 o'clock p.m., Octave J. Pitre, beloved husband of Bessie Adoue, mother of Mrs. Oliver J. Malbrough; brother of Mrs. James Dill of Houma, La., and Frank Pitre, half-brother of Mrs. Clay Bellanger; also survived by one grandchild; aged 62 years; a native of Houma, La. and a resident of New Orleans for the past 43 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, Wednesday, July 23, 1958, at 9 o'clock a.m., from the auxiliary funeral home of Jacob Schoen and Son, Inc., 3827 Canal Street at N. Scott Street, with Requiem Mass at St. Leo the Great church.  Interment Houma, La.
