Notes for Marie Rose Alma Lavoie:

Obituary:  Pitre-Lavoie, Rose Alma.  At her home in Chateauguay, 27 February 1996, at the age of 95 years, died Madame Rose Alma Lavoie, wife of the late Raymond Pitre.  She is survived by her children: Medard (Alexina Leboeuf), late Andree (Maurice Prudhomme), Maxime and the late Pierre-Aime (Pierrette Poissant), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a number of relatives and friends.  Viewing Wednesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. and Thursday starting at noon, at the funeral home Michel Theriault Inc., Mercier.  The funeral will be held on Thursday 29 February at 2 p.m., at Ste. Philomene church, and from there to the Mercier cemetery.

Marie Anne Andree Pitre:  L'Information Regionale (QUE), 24 August 1966:  At her parents' home on 18 August, at the age of 30 years, died Madame Maurice Prudhomme, nee Andree Pitre, daughter of the former mayor of Ste. Philomene, Mr. Raymond Pitre.  Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by her children, Michel, 10 years, Danielle, 8 years, and Francois, 5 years.  She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pitre (nee Rose Alma Lavoie), three brothers, Medard, Maxime and Pierre-Aime; sisters-in-law Mrs. Medard Pitre (Alexina Leboeuf), Mrs. Pierre-Aime Pitre (Pierrette Poissant), her parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Francois Prudhomme (Yvonne Lacoste), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sister Yvonne-Francoise, s.n.j.m., (Janine), Mr. and Mrs. Clement Poissant, (Madeleine), Mr. and Mrs. Guy Poirier, (Francoise), Mr. and Mrs. Jean-Paul Prudhomme, (Marcelle Legault), Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Prudhomme, (Lucie Renaud), Mr. and Mrs. Yvon Prudhomme, (Cecile Horton), Mr. and Mrs. Leo Prudhomme (Pierrette Hade), several uncles and aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.  The funeral mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in the parish church of St. Philomena.  Father Bonnier celebrated the Divine Office, assisted by Fathers Ladouceur and Laplante.  A very large crowd of relatives and friends had come to express their sympathy to these bereaved families.  In turn, we say to them: Our deepest condolences.
