Obituary:  L'Information (QUE), 1 May 1968:  Mr. Romeo Pitre, of Ste. Martine, died Saturday last (27 April) at the Notre-Dame de la Merci Hospital of the Metropolis at the age of 62 years after a long illness.  Originally from Mercier, the deceased had been employed for many years by H. Desrosiers as a manager.  Besides his wife, nee Juliette Cardinal, he is survived by his children (and their spouse) Marcel (Jacqueline Poirier) Fernand (Liette Carreau) Hubert (Colette Rivard) Rejeanne (Mrs. Jean-Paul St. Louis).  His brothers and sisters-in-law Eloi Pitre (Irene Rose) Flavien Fernando (Eva Primeau).  His sisters and brothers-in-law Mrs. Albert Reid (Bernadette Pitre) Mr. and Mrs. Rene Loiselle (Lucille Pitre) Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Rose (Juliette Pitre) Mr. and Mrs. Anatole Laberge (Emilienne Pitre).  His brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Albert Tremblay, Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Cardinal (Bernadette Lecuyer) Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Cardinal (Anita Bouthiller) Mrs. Summers (Mary Cardinal).  Also leaves 10 grandchildren and a large number of nephews and nieces.  The mortal remains may be viewed at the funeral home Jean-Marc Loiselle before the cortege departs for the parish church where the funeral will be celebrated Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 p.m.

Obituary:  Pitre (Cardinal), Juliette.  At Laval, 10 January 1997, passed away at the age of 88 years, Madame Juliette Cardinal, wife of the late Romeo Pitre.  She is survived by her children, Marcel (Jacqueline), Rejeanne, Hubert (Colette), daughter-in-law Lyette (late Fernand), sister, Alice, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Viewing at Alfred Dallaire Inc., Laval, Monday 13 January 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.  The funeral will take place Tuesday 14 January at 2 p.m. in Ste. Martine church.  Burial in the cemetery at the same place.

Joseph Gui Fernand Pitre:  Pitre, Fernand.  At Laval, 21 September 1994, at the age of 64 years, died Mr. Fernand Pitre, son of Romeo Pitre and Juliette Cardinal of Ste. Martine.  He is survived by his wife Lyette Carreau, sons Guy (Normande), Carl (Diane), as well as brothers Marcel (Jacqueline) and Hubert (Colette), sister Rejeanne St. Louis, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  Viewing at Complexe Funeraire Alfred Dallaire, Laval, Friday 23 September 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. and Saturday 24 September, starting at 12 noon followed at 2:30 p.m. by the funeral at St. Julien Eymard Church, Laval.  Return to St. Martin's mausoleum for the chapel reception.  Donations to the Quebec Foundation for Heart Disease would be appreciated.

Joseph Hubert Florent Pitre:  Pitre, Hubert.  At Laval, 2 August 2012, has died Mr. Hubert Pitre, at the age of 74 years.  His beloved, Colette, his daughters Danielle (Denis Michaud) and Manon, as well as adored grandchildren, Alexandra Desmarais (Dave Brunet) and Emile Couture-Michaud, will affectionately carry his sweet memory.  He also leaves behind his brother Marcel, sister Rejeanne and sister-in-law Lyette, nephews and nieces as well as many esteemed dear friends and former co-workers.  An afternoon of sharing, in the presence of the ashes, is planned for Saturday, 11 August 2012, starting at 1 p.m.  A prayer meeting will take place at 4:30 and will be followed by the burial in the mausoleum.  Your condolences may also be expressed through a donation to the Parkinson Society of Quebec or to the Fund dedicated to the palliative care unit of the Cite de la Sante of Laval hospital.  Alfred Dallaire Memoria.
