Obituary:  Providence Journal (RI), Thursday, 24 November 1960:  Mrs. Jeremie Pitre - Mrs. Laura (Gallant) Pitre of 19 Elm St., North Attleboro, died yesterday in Providence following a long illness.  She was the wife of Jeremie Pitre.  Born in Canada, she had lived in North Attleboro 55 years.  Besides her husband, Mrs. Pitre leaves a daughter, Mrs. Jean Millikin of Providence.  Mrs. Pitre was a member of Sacred Heart Church, North Attleboro, and the Ste. Anne sodality of that church.  The funeral will be held at 9:15 a.m., Friday from the Hector J. DeBlois Funeral Home, 107 North Attleboro, with a requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
