William Henri Pitre: Pitre, William Henri, 1925-2004. At
Enfant Jesus Hospital of CHA, 26 February 2004, at the age of 78 years, passed
away Mr. William Henri Pitre, retired employee of CN, husband of
Madame Gemma Allen. He resided at Beauport. He is entrusted to
Funeral Complex La Souvenance Memorial Park, Ste. Foy. The religious
service will be celebrated Saturday 28 February 2004, at 2 p.m., in Notre Dame
of the Nativity church. His ashes will be laid to rest at La Souvenance
Memorial Park at a later date. The family will receive condolences at the
church, one hour before the ceremony. He is survived by, besides his wife,
sons and daughter-in-law: Michel (Danielle Girard), Claude (Pascale Bernard);
grandchildren: Andreanne, Marc-Antoine, Olivier, Pierre-Alexandre, Guillaume
and Nicolas; his brother William (late Jeannine Nolin); his sister
Anne-Marie (late Arthur Gauthier); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the
Allen family: Robert (late Catherine Poulin), Gabrielle (late Robert Lapointe),
Therese (late Yvon Plamondon), Marguerite (late Rosaire Gagnon), Pierrette (late
Raymond Nolin), Francoise (Pierre Chateauneuf), Jacqueline (late Jean-Louis
Laine), Jeannette Doyon (late Philippe Allen), Gertrude Gauvin (late Roger
Allen). He was also the brother-in-law of the late Lilianne Allen
(the late Yvon Couture) as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and
friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis
Society of Canada could be made.
