Obituary: The Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), Tuesday, 26 February 1963: Henry (Pete) Pitre, 70, husband of Mrs. Lucy (Boisvert) Pitre, died this morning at his home, 60 Carolyn street. He was born in Lowell, the son of the late Arthur and Arise (Spooner) Pitre. He was for many years an usher at the Royal theater but he retired five years ago. Mr. Pitre was a communicant of St. Louis de France church. Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Rita Scacciotti of Maynard, Mrs. Arlene Lessard, Mrs. Dorothy Cloutier, Mrs. Dolores Gary, all of Lowell; a son, Henry Pitre Jr. of Lowell; a sister, Mrs. Ida Keefe of Lowell; two brothers, Felix Pitre and Alfred Pitre, both of Lowell; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Pitre was a life member of the Club Passe Temps, Club Citoyens Americans, and the Centralville Social club.

She was born in Saco, Me., the daughter of the late Louis and Laura (Harnois) Boisvert. Mrs. Pitre had been a resident of this city for many years. She made her home at 60 Carolyn street and was a communicant of St. Louis de France church. She was a member of the Ste. Anne's sodality connected with the parish. Doris M. Pitre: The Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), Tuesday, 7 September 1926: Two manslaughter cases came before Judge Pickman in district court this morning as result of fatal automobile accidents in this city. The first case involved Joseph Arcand of Harris street, Springvale, Me., who was arrested Sunday afternoon after his automobile had struck and killed Doris Pitre, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pitre of 751 Aiken street. He is also charged with drunkenness, and operating an automobile while he was under the influence of liquor. The accident occurred about 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Aiken street, near Perkins street. The machine operated by Arcand first collided with a car driven by James J. Cosgrove of Shawsheen avenue, Wilmington, and then continued onto the sidewalk where the Pitre girl, her 6-year-old sister, Rita Pitre, Florence Paquette 7, and Grace Chamberlain, 9, were walking. Doris Pitre was forcibly struck by the machine, while her companions were only slightly injured. The little girl was picked up by passersby and died while being taken to the Corporation hospital.
- The Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), Tuesday, 7 September 1926: Pitre - The funeral of Doris Pitre, the unfortunate victim of last Saturday's automobile accident, took place this morning at 9 o'clock from the home of her parents, Henry and Lucie (Boisvert) Pitre, 751 Aiken street, and was largely attended. There were many beautiful flowers. Burial was in the family lot in St. Joseph's cemetery under the direction of Undertakers Amadee Archambault and Sons.
Arlene Leah Pitre: The Sun (Lowell, MA), Saturday, 18 December 1999: Billerica - Arlene L. (Pitre) Lessard, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 16, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of Maurice J. 'Moe' Lessard, with whom she celebrated a 40th anniversary in September. She was born in Lowell on Feb. 9, 1923, a daughter of the late Henry and Lucy (Greenwood) Pitre. She was raised in Lowell's Centralville section, but had lived in Billerica for the past 37 years. Mrs. Lessard was a dietitian at the E. N. Rogers V. A. Hospital in Bedford. She was a communicant of St. Irene's Church in Carlisle and had been active at the Billerica Senior Center. Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Doris and Robert Gagnon of Pepperell and Melody Levesque of Lowell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roland and Charlotte (Perry) Archambault of Danville, N.H., and Rocky and Paula (Toscano) Ericsson of Tewksbury; a sister, Delores Gary of Lowell; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Robert Archambault; and sister of the late Rita Scacciotti, Dorothea Cloutier, Doris Pitre and Henry Pitre Jr.
Henry Joseph Pitre: The Sunday Sun (Lowell, MA), Sunday, 7 September 1986: Groton - Henry J. Pitrie, Jr., 56, of Hemlock Road, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, Sept. 6. He was born in Lowell, May 31, 1930, son of the late Esther (Greenwood) and Henry Pitrie. He had made his home in Groton for the past 15 years and had previously lived in Lowell. He attended St. Louis Elementary School and the Lowell Trade School. At the time of his death, he was a truck driver for Suffolk Trucking (Martin's Distributors). Previously he had been employed by Robinson's Express. He is survived by his wife, Esther (Adams) Pitrie of Groton; four sons, Leo and Kevin Pitrie and Richard and Michael Gonsalves, all of Groton; five daughters, Mrs. Brenda Deschenes of Hudson, N.H., Carol LaCoy of Groton, Louise Martinson of California and Mrs. Robin Reis and Mrs. Linda Lanoche, both of Florida; four sisters, Mrs. Vincent (Rita) Scacciotti of Maynard; Mrs. Maurice (Arlene) Lessard of Billerica; Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Cloutier of Lowell and Mrs. Bernard (Delores) Gary of Lowell; and six grandchildren.

Dolores Grace Pitre: Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), 8 September 2015: Lowell - Dolores G. (Petri [Pitre]) Gary, age 83, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died on Sept. 5, 2015, at Fairhaven Health Ctr. She was the widow of Bernard M. Gary who died in 1981. She was born in Lowell on Nov. 28, 1931, daughter of the late Henry & Lucia Petri. She was an avid bingo player, and a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Michael Green of Lowell; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Bruce & Mary Alice Gary of Lowell, Jan Gary of Chelmsford, Glen & Barbara Gary of N.C., Jerry & Dianna Gary and Brian & Judy Gary, all of Lowell; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; four God-children; and many nieces & nephews. She was mother-in-law of the late Ann Marie Gary, and she was pre-deceased by five sisters and a brother.
