Obituary: The Gazette (Montreal, QUE), Monday, 1 December 1941: Mrs. S. P. Pitre Dead - Wife of Studebaker Sales Manager was aged 57: Sophie Pedneault Pitre, wife of Joseph Pitre, former Studebaker sales manager for Eastern Canada, died suddenly on Saturday at her home, 143 Mount Royal avenue west. She was 57 years of age. Mrs. Pitre is survived by her husband; three daughters, Isabelle, Mrs. Aline Lamothe, and Mrs. Lucille Klein of New York City; a sister, Mrs. J. H. Snow, of Ottawa; a brother, Romeo Pedneault; three brothers-in-law, Arthur Pitre, Jean Marc Pitre, and Alfred Pitre; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Romeo Pedneault. Funeral will be held from the parlors of Eugene Desjardins, 4547 St. Denis street, on Wednesday morning at 7:30 o'clock, to service at 8 a.m. at the Church of St.-Enfant Jesus. Burial will take place in Eastern Cemetery, Sherbrooke street east.

She is survived by her son Pierre (Sharon Knowles) and her sister Lucille Pitre-Klein. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces as well as many friends. Viewing at Urgel Bourgie, Ville St. Laurent. The funeral will take place Saturday 11 March at 10 a.m. in St. Laurent church (Marian chapel) and then to the Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery. Relatives and friends are requested to attend without further invitation. Visiting hours: Thursday and Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.

She is survived by her children: Marie-Sophie, Suzanne (Libero Bembic) and Dr. Francois Lamothe (Ginette Saulnier); grandchildren: Milena, Valerie, Philippe and Roxane; sisters: Isabelle Girard and Lucille Klein; her sister-in-law Georgette, her brother-in-law Paul Heroux as well as several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Exhibited at Paul & Fortin Inc., Montreal. Funeral on Thursday, October 13, at 10 a.m., in St. Denis Church, Laurier, Montreal and Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Visiting hours: Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. to 7-10 p.m. Donations to the St.-Luc Hospital Foundation in Montreal would be appreciated.
Lucille Pitre: Klein (Pitre), Lucille, 1913-2006. Surrounded by her loved ones, Lucille Pitre-Klein was laid to rest on November 7, 2006. She is survived by her son Richard (Lysanne), grandchildren Sebastien and Julie (Eric) and their mother Madeleine, nephews and nieces Marie-Sophie, Pierre and Francois as well as many relatives and friends. The family will receive expressions of sympathy at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, Town of Mont Royal, Friday 10 November 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be celebrated at St. Germain church, Outremont, Saturday 11 November 2006 at 10 a.m. Donations in her memory to the Little Brothers of the Poor organization would be greatly appreciated.
