Jefferson parish deputies today were searching for a 19-year-old boy who left home Monday and has not returned. He is Kermit Pitre, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pitre, 489 Ave. L, Marrero. Mrs. Pitre told deputies her son has a chroinic illness and she fears he has had an attack. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has light brown hair, she said. When last seen, he was wearing a khaki shirt, blue dungarees and brown shoes.

Visitation at St. Helena Catholic Church, Amite, on Friday, May 18, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Joe Camilleri. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Pitre Miller, Amite; three sons, Cleve Pitre, Amite, Nolan Pitre, Kentwood, and Donnie Pitre, Amite; four grandchildren, Katelyn, Cassie and Emma Pitre, and Jason Adams; and three sisters, Delores Hill, Marrero, and Barbara Pitre and Charlene Pitre, both of Covington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma B. Pitre; and parents, John and Norma Pitre. Arrangements by McKneely Funeral Home, Amite.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Costanza, Sr. Mother of Joseph, Jr. (Connie), Phillip (Marie), Charles, Gary (Patricia), David (Jessica), Elizabeth Thomas (Todd), Judy, and the late Anthony (Trudy) and Tommy. Also survived by 33 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and 13 brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Norma Pitre. She was an extremely loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Westside Leitz-Eagan, Marrero, on Monday Afternoon, August 19, 2013 at 1:00. Visitation will begin at 10:00 in the morning. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna.
