Marie Elizabeth Pitre:  Santerre & Fils Funeral Home (St. Alexis, Matapedia):  Elizabeth Pitre - At the CHLSD of Matapedia on May 13, 2021, passed away at the age of 91 years and 10 months, Mrs. Elizabeth Pitre from the Ascension of Patapedia.  She was the daughter of the late Carry McNeil and the late Eugene Pitre.  Mrs. Pitre is survived by her sister Jeannette (late Sylvio Fortier), as well as her many nieces and nephews.  Preceded by Robert (late Leona Martin), Laurent, Isidore (late Christina Day), Philippe, Alice (late Jean-Claude Lepage), Leonard.  In order to comply with the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health, only 50 people are allowed to be present, those who have received an invitation will be able to come to the church for the funeral.  However, the family members would like to thank you warmly for your wishes of sympathy, your kind words and invite you to be present in thought on the day of the funeral.  The funeral of Mrs. Pitre will be celebrated on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Ascension Church.  Interment will follow in the local cemetery.  The family thanks all the staff and volunteers of the Villa des Plateaux for their dedication, their great humanity and their kindness towards Elizabeth.  The direction was entrusted to the Santerre & Fils Funeral Home Inc., of St. Alexis, a member and certified Distinction of the Corporation des Thanatologues du Quebec.  The staff of Santerre & Fils Funeral Home offers the family its deepest condolences and thanks them for their trust.  All your expressions of sympathy can be translated into a donation to: Fondation Villa des Plateaux, Saint Alexis (Quebec).

 

Joseph Robert Pitre:  Santerre & Fils Funeral Home (St. Alexis, Matapedia):  (photo) Robert Pitre - At the CHSLD Matapedia, on September 29, 2015, passed away at the age of 84, Mr. Robert Pitre, husband of the late Leona Martin.  He remained at Ascension.   Mr. Pitre is survived by his children: Noella (Gaetan Lavoie), Linda (Jean Marc Francoeur), Leo (Josette Doucet), lain (Doris Lavoie), Guylaine (Marco Blanchard), Guy (Sonia Brunet) and Steeves (Guylaine Gallant).  He was preceded by his son Jean-Louis and his daughter Roberte.  He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and siblings; Elizabeth, Alice (late Jean-Claude Lepage), Jeannette (late Sylvio Fortier) and Leonard.  He was preceded by his brothers Laurent, Isidore (Christine Day) and Philippe.  He also leaves his nieces and nephews, as well as all the other members of the Martin and Pitre families.  The family will welcome you on Saturday, October 3 from 9am in the church of L'Ascension.  Visiting hours are from 9am to 10am.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ascension Church on the same day at 10 a.m.  Management has been entrusted to Santerre et fils Funeral Home Inc. of St-Alexis.  Company affiliated with the Corporation des thanatologues du Quebec.  Any expression of sympathy can be made as a donation to:  Eastern Quebec Cancer Association, Rimouski, Quebec.

Joseph Philippe Pitre:  Santerre & Fils Funeral Home (St. Alexis, Matapedia):  (photo) Philippe Pitre - At the Campbellton Regional Hospital, on March 01, 2015, passed away at the age of 78 years and 11 months, Mr. Philippe Pitre, son of the late Eugene Pitre and the late Carey McNeil, residing at Ascension.  Mr. Pitre is survived his sisters Elizabeth, Alice (late Jean-Claude Lepage), Jeanette (late Sylvio Fortier), his brothers, Robert (Leona Martin), Leonard.  His nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Christine Day.  He was preceded by his brothers Isidore and Laurent.  The family will welcome you on Saturday, March 21 in the Church of the Ascension at 9am.  The funeral mass will be celebrated the same day at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery in the spring of 2015.  Any expression of sympathy may be made as a donation to: Eastern Quebec Cancer Association Rimouski, Quebec.

 

Marie Alice Pitre:  Santerre & Fils Funeral Home (St. Alexis, Matapedia):  (photo) Alice Pitre - At the CHSLD of Matapedia, on January 24, 2017, passed away at the age of 78, Mrs. Alice Pitre, wife of the late Jean-Claude Lepage.  She lived at Ascension.  Mrs. Pitre is survived by her son Bruno (Denise Levesque), her sisters Elizabeth and Jeannette, her brother Leonard, her nieces and nephews, and her cousins.  She was preceded by her son Benoit and her brothers: Robert, Philippe, Laurent and Isidore.  The family will welcome you on Tuesday, January 31 from 9am, in the church of The Ascension.  Visiting hours are from 9am to 10am.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ascension Church on the same day at 10 a.m.  Interment of the ashes will take place in Amqui Cemetery in the spring of 2017.  Management has been entrusted to Santerre et fils Funeral Home Inc. of St-Alexis.  A company affiliated with the Corporation des Thanatologues du Quebec.  Any expression of sympathy can be made as a donation to the foundation: Alzheimer Society Gaspesie–Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Bonaventure, Quebec.

 

Leonard Pitre:  Santerre & Fils Funeral Home (St. Alexis, Matapedia):  Leonard Pitre - At the CHSLD of Matapedia, on 1st February 2021 passed away at the age of 76, Mr. Leonard Pitre, originally from L'Ascension-de-Patapedia.  He was the son of the late Carry McNeil and the late Eugene Pitre.  Mr. Pitre is survived by his two sisters Elizabeth, Jeannette (late Sylvio Fortier), as well as his many nieces and nephews.  Preceded by: his brothers Robert (late Leona Martin), Isidore (late Christina Day), Laurent, Philippe, and his sister Alice (late Jean-Claude Lepage).  Given the current circumstances and Public Health guidelines, mandatory mask wearing and social distancing must be respected at all times.  In addition, the maximum number of people allowed to attend the funeral in the Church of the Ascension is 25 people.  The family will welcome you on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10 am in the church of L'Ascension-de-Patapedia.  Mr. Pitre's funeral will follow at 10:30 a.m.  The direction was entrusted to the Funeral Home Santerre & Fils inc., of St-Alexis, a member and certified Distinction of the Corporation des Thanatologues du Quebec.  The staff of Santerre & Fils Funeral Home offers its most sincere condolences.  We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers of Villa des Plateaux who have embellished the last years of Mr. Leonard and especially Mrs. Danielle Leblanc.  We would also like to thank the staff of the CHSLD de Matapedia for the accompaniment and support provided, as well as his family doctor Dr. Emilie Sexton for the care provided during his long illness.  All your expressions of sympathy can be translated into a donation to the Foundation of Villa des Plateaux , Saint-Alexis QC.
