Romeo Pitre: Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst,
NB): Romeo Pitre (photo) 1934 - 2015: At the palliative care
of the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at
the age of 80, Mr. Romeo Pitre passed away, he lived in Laplante. Born in
Pointe-Verte, he was the son of the late Adelard Pitre and the late Julia
Pitre. He is survived by three sisters: Kathleen (Gerald Comeau)
of Laplante, Gertrude Lagace of Bathurst, Victoria (late Hervin Comeau)
of Robertville. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles,
aunts and his friends from the Foyer la Berceuse. Two brothers: Abby
and Renald as well as three sisters: Ruby, Simonne, Melissa preceded
him to the grave. The family wishes to say a special Thank You to the
Foyer la Berceuse for the good care given to Romeo during his stay among them.
There will be no visits to the funeral home. The funeral mass will be
celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. from St-Vincent-de-Paul Church in
Pointe-Verte. Funeral management has been entrusted to the care of
Heritage Funeral Home of Beresford.
Renald Pitre: Elhatton’s Funeral Home
(Bathurst, NB): Renald Pitre 1944 – 2013: At the Chaleur
Regional Hospital in Bathurst, at the age of 69, on Tuesday, December 24, 2013,
Renald Pitre, of Beresford, passed away. Born in Pointe-Verte, he
was the son of the late Adelard Pitre and the late Julia Lagace.
Besides his wife, Delima (Boudreau) Pitre, he is survived by a brother,
Romeo of LaPlante. Three sisters: Kathleen Comeau (Gerald)
of LaPlante, Gertrude Lagace of Bathurst and Victoria Comeau of
Robertville. Several nieces and nephews. A brother, Abbot and
three sisters: Simonne, Ruby and Melita preceded her to the grave.
There will be no visits to the Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be
celebrated on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at St-Vincent-de-Paul
Church in Pointe-Verte. The family will receive condolences at the church
one hour before the service. A donation in memory of Renald to the Extra
Mural Program or a charity of your choice will be appreciated by the family.
Funeral direction has been entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Beresford.
