Obituary: Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Friday, 23 July 1976: Mrs. Eddie (Katherine) Peters. Stockholm - Mrs. Katherine Peters, 62, died July 21 at a Fort Fairfield hospital. She was born April 19, 1914, in Woodland, daughter of Jerremiah and Carrie (Libby) Skidgel. She was a graduate of Woodland and Caribou schools; and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by her husband, Eddie of Stockholm; a son, Donald of New Sweden; two daughters Mrs. Wendell (Marguerite) Quimby of Gray, Mrs. Raymond (Patricia) Long of Portland; seven brothers, Melvin of Topeka, Kan.; Cecile of Travelers Rest, S.C.; Stanley of Hartford, Conn.; Edgar, Edwin, Thomas and Vernon, all of Woodland; five sisters, Mrs. Roger (Barbara) Johndro of Limestone, Mrs. Horman (Hazel) Dixon of Linneus, Mrs. Helen Doak of Fort Fairfield, Mrs. John (Lillian) Rossignol of Woodland and Mrs. Philip (Thelma) Ouellette of Hartford, Conn.
