Fannie Evelyn Peters: Calgary Herald (Calgary, Alberta), Tuesday/Wednesday, 20/21 September 1977: Alexander - September 19, 1977, Mrs. Fannie Evelyn Alexander, aged 80, of the Bethany Care Centre. Survived by sons Edward, Fred and Clarence Gies; daughters Mrs. Dora Parker and Mrs. Vi Lacroix. Also six stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services at the Garden Chapel (Foster Funeral Home) Thursday at 3:30 p.m, Pastor Del Christensen officiating. Interment Queen's Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers kindly send donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Marie Marguerite Peters: Red Deer Advocate (Red Deer, ALB), Friday, 1 June 1990: Rusinek - Mrs. Marguerite Rusinek of Red Deer passed away at the West Park Nursing Home, Red Deer, on May 31, 1990 at the age of 90 years. Marguerite was born on July 6, 1899 at Reston, Manitoba. She homesteaded in Northern British Columbia, before moving to Calgary in 1964, and to Red Deer in 1969. Marguerite returned to British Columbia for a time, before settling in Red Deer where she resided until her passing. Marguerite enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. She is survived by her two daughters, Louise Carriere of Red Deer and Jean and her husband Allan Engdahl of Black Creek, B.C.; a daughter-in-law, Marina Mansfield of Red Deer; a son, Lawrence; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Frances Muldoon of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Lena Wilvers and Lambert Wilvers, both of Redvers, Saskatchewan and Mary Jobin of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1948; four brothers; and one sister. Funeral Services will by held at the Eventide Funeral Chapel, Red Deer, on Monday, June 4, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Alto-Reste Memorial Gardens. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, Red Deer. Arrangements in care of Eventide Funeral Chapels, Red Deer.
