Obituary: The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Tuesday, 19 March 1974: Hudson - Isaac Newman Peters, 82, died March 18 at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. He was born May 19, 1891 at Summerside, P.E.I., the son of Joseph and Mary (Arsenault) Peters. He had been a shoe cutter at the Penobscot Shoe Co. for the past 20 years. He is survived by two sons, Newman of Hudson and Arthur of Orrington; three brothers, Laurier of Bath, George of Summerside, P.E.I. and Ralph of Hartford, Conn.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, East Corinth. Spring burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Obituary: The Lewiston Daily Sun (Lewiston, ME), Thursday, 23 February 1950: Mrs. Agnes B. Jennings, 42, wife of Arthur D. Jennings, died Wednesday afternoon at her North Auburn home following a short illness. Mrs. Jennings was born in Lewiston, April 10, 1907, the daughter of Osborne and Maude Field Reynolds. She was educated in Lewiston and Auburn schools. Twelve years ago she married Mr. Jennings in Auburn. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Maude Davis, Auburn; four sons, Newman of Orono; Arthur Jr., Dana, and Daniel, all of Auburn; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Doughty and Mrs. Wilfred Berube, both of Auburn, and Mrs. Minnie Johnson, Augusta; three brothers, Clayton, Lewiston; Arthur, Connecticut, and Robert, Auburn.

He was born in Auburn, April 1, 1923, the son of Isaac and Agnes (Reynolds) Peters. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the DAV. He is survived by three brothers, Arthur Peters of Brewer, Danny Jennings of Old Town and Dana Jennings of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth O. Peters, Jan. 24, 1987. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kiley-Birmingham Funeral Home, Brewer, with the Rev. M. Charles Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be in Hudson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
