Obituary: Watertown Daily Times (Watertown, NY), Friday 17 August 1984: Potsdam - The funeral for Harold J. 'Doc' LaShomb, 71, formerly of 116 Market St., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Garner Funeral Home, Rev. Dennis Knight officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. LaShomb, a retired papermaker, died Wednesday night in Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Calling hours at the funeral home are this afternoon and tonight. Memorial donations may be made to Potsdam Rescue Squad. Surviving are two daughters, Gloria LaShomb, Flint, Mich., and Shirley Tatusko, Syracuse; two sons, Harold, Texas and Stephen, Syracuse; four grandchildren; five sisters, Miss Blanche LaShomb, Potsdam, Mrs. Gertrude Thurston, Arizona, Mrs. Evelyn Olson, Potsdam, Mrs. Pearl Cameron, Florida, and Mrs. Jean Fredericks, Norfolk and nieces and nephews. Born at Brasher Falls on March 13, 1913, son of George and Mary Shorette LaShomb, he attended Brasher and Potsdam schools. He had been employed by the Racquette River Paper Company for 30 years and also had worked with his sister, Miss Blanche LaShomb, in the operation of the former LaShomb's Restaurant on Main Street.

Holland, 76, Mount Morris, Mich., formerly of Parishville, died Oct. 10 at Flint Hospice, Flint, Mich. The funeral was Oct. 13 at Browns Funeral Home, Flint, Mich. Burial was in Michigan. Surviving are a son, Kenneth Lombard, Flint, Mich.; a daughter, Gloria Lashomb, Mount Morris, Mich.; three brothers, Earl Randall, Pierrepont, Bill Randall, Newport Beach, Calif., and Elbridge Randall, Parishville; four sisters, Ethel Shepard, Syracuse, Marion Cameron, Hannawa Falls, Josephine LaPoint, Potsdam, and Bertha J. Harris, Fine, and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Elmer and Frank Randall, and a sister, Gladys Lucheinville, died before her. Born in Parishville on June 4, 1916, a daughter of Elbridge and Hazel Santimaw Randall, she attended West Parishville schools and was a 1935 graduate of Potsdam High School. A marriage to Harold Lashomb ended in divorce. She later married Randy Holland. He died before her. Mrs. Holland was employed with General Motors, Flint, Mich., as an assembly line worker until her retirement.

Beverly lived in Syracuse for the past 20 years. Surviving are her daughters, Mary Finley of Camillus, Darlene Whitmore of Alexander, and Shirley Tatusko of Syracuse; sons, Garrison Randall of Colton, Steven LaShomb of Liverpool, and Harold LaShomb of Potsdam; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. Friends may call preceding the funeral from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.

Bickell; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; long time fiance, Jim Thibeaut. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Florence LaShomb.

He went to work as a contractor with Larry Peters. He was a Cardinal for the Bexonist International Ministries and Church. Harold is survived by his wife, Judy of Potsdam.
