Obituary:  Plattsburgh Press Republican (NY), Monday, 29 April 1996:  Plattsburgh - Henry H. Peets, 88, of Prospect Avenue, died Sunday, April 28, 1996, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home.  He was born in Ellenburg Center Jan. 22, 1908, the son of Louis and Lena (Senscal) Peets.  He had been a self-employed dairy farmer in Ellenburg most of his life.  He was a member of St. Peter's Church.  He is survived by his wife, the former Myra Blow Peets of Plattsburgh; a daughter, Evelyn Mesic of Plattsburgh; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Regina Peets of Ellenburg Center, and Donald and Avah Peets of West Plattsburgh; a granddaughter, Karen Bigelow of Morrisonville; a great-granddaughter, Emily Bigelow; and several nieces and nephews.  Two brothers, Eugene and Floyd Peets, a sister, Mabel Peets, and a son-in-law, Miles Mesic, all died before him.  Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh.  Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Obituary:  Plattsburgh Press Republican (NY), Saturday, 21 December 1996: Plattsburgh - Myra B. Peets, 87, formerly of Prospect Avenue, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 1996, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh where she had been residing since March.  She was born in Ellenburg Center, Nov. 18, 1909, the daughter of John and Lillian (Vorce) Blow.  She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Mesic of Plattsburgh; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Norman and Mary Blow, of Florida, and Audrey Blow of Ellenburg Center; a sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Melvin McPherson of Malta; a granddaughter and her husband, Karen and Jay Biegelo of Morrisonville; a great-grand-daughter; and several nieces and nephews.  Her husband, Henry H. Peets, died April 28, 1996; a brother, Russell Blow; two sisters, Gladys Benware and Marjorie Taro; and a son-in-law, Miles Mesic; all died earlier.  Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

 

Obituary for the daughter:

Evelyn M. Peets:  Mrs. Evelyn P. Mesic, 85, of Lincoln Lane in Plattsburgh, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH in Plattsburgh with family by her side.  She was born in Plattsburgh on April 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Myra (Blow) Peets.  Evelyn was employed as a bookkeeper for Champlain Valley Federal Savings and Loan and later Albany Savings Bank for many years.  She was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church.  Evelyn enjoyed camping , reading and spending time with her family.  She is survived by a daughter and son in law; Karen and Jay Bigelow of Plattsburgh, a granddaughter Emily Bigelow of Plattsburgh, and several nieces and nephews.  Her husband, Miles F. Mesic passed away November 18, 1977.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Church.  Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.  Memorial donations may be offered to the Alzheimers Assistance Center at SUNY Plattsburgh or for Masses.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh, N.Y.
