She was born to Edward J. O'Neil and Mary McNally on December 29, 1923 in Detroit MI. She married George J. Peters on January 17, 1948; he preceded her in March 1993. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alger, MI. Mary is survived by her children Catherine M. Brown (Dave Kuba), Edward J. (Carmen) Peters, Dennis G. (Darin Stringer), Mary L. (Don) Murray, 13 grandchildren James, Timothy, Jonathan, Jennifer, Bradley, Matthew, Gilbert, Julie, James, Neann, Jerrid, Erin and Shannon, 7 great-grandchildren Alicia, Mario, Victoria, Alexa, Grace, James and Mylene; she was preceded by husband George and son-in-law Raymond Brown in September 2006. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2008 at 12 noon from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alger, Father Jerome Niedermier and Deacon Mike Arnold will be officiating the service.
