Obituary:  London Free Press (ONT), 4 April 2007:  DOUCETTE Alice Marie of Elgin Manor, on Monday, April 2nd, 2007, at her late residence in her 91st year.  Beloved wife of the late John M. Doucette and dearly loved mother of Gloria and her husband Gerry Fina of Brampton, John and his wife Yvonne of St. Thomas, Bernice and her husband Ed Steer of St. Thomas, Judy and her husband Danny Bellefontaine of West Chezzetcook, N.S., Adrien and his wife Judith of Ormstown, Que., Norman and his wife Donna of Hawksbury, Donald and his wife Monique of Vancouver, Mary and her husband Barry Shipp of St. Thomas, Leonard and his wife Dyan of St. Thomas, Richard and his wife Cindy of Ilderton and the late Bernard Doucette.  Dear sister-in-law of Leonore Doucette-Merchaud of Lachute, Que. and Florence Doucette-Robicheau of Moncton, N.B.  Alice was born in Rogersville, N.B. on June 13, 1916, the daughter of the late George A. and Julienne (Caissie) Pitre.  Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.  She worked as a waitress and then as a Nurse's Aid a number of years.  She was a very active member of Holy Angels' Church, the C.W.L. and was a Leader for many years for prayer meetings and Healing Masses.  Alice was a Spiritual Director for the Rehoboth Home, Springfield a number of years and was a volunteer at the Caring Cupboard.  Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas until Wednesday morning and then to Holy Angels' Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow in Holy Angels' Cemetery.  Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.  Remembrances may be made to the Rehoboth Home or the Caring Cupboard.
