MISC: The Gazette (Montreal, QUE), Tuesday, 21 February 1905: Napoleon Bombardier, trader, 23 years of age, 508 St. Charles street, and Ferdinand Lepitre, laborer, 19 years of age, 10 Pea lane, were arrested yesterday by Detective Leger. They are accused of having broken into the millinery establishment of G. L. Kavanaugh, 2011 Notre Dame street, on the night of February 25, 1904, and stealing valuable feathers and trimmings. They will be arraigned before Judge Lafontaine this morning.
- The Gazette (Montreal, QUE), Monday, 19 November 1906: Chief Detective Carpenter, with half a dozen members of his staff, made a raid Saturday night on an alleged gambling house at 10 West Lagaughetiere street, where they arrested Jean C. Perron, 21 years of age, the keeper, and six others, one of whom was a girl 19 years of age, whose brother was also in the house. Those under arrest besides the keeper are: Ferdinand LePitre, tailor; Edouard Lajoie, butcher; Joseph H. Deniel, tailor; Armand Therrien, carter; William C. Angel, who said he had no occupation, and Laura LePitre, cigarmaker. The warrant on which the house was raided was sworn out by a young man, who claimed to have lost money in the house through being cheated in a card game. There was no gambling paraphernalia of any kind in the house, except a few packs of cards. The accused were taken to police headquarters and will be arraigned before Judge Lafontaine this morning.
- The Gazette (Montreal, QUE), Thursday, 13 December 1917: Men refused exemption from service: "The judges also refused to exempt Ferdinand Lepitre, 178 St. Elizabeth street, a chauffeur who runs his own automobile and who pleaded that his profession was of national importance. Lepitre has five brothers, and one is at the front.

On the 2nd of July 1923, at 10 a.m. in the morning, (solar time), at the residence of the said defendant, at No. 94, Brown Street, (Florian), in the City of Montreal, the goods and effects of the said defendant seized in this case, consisting of management effects, will be sold by authority of justice. Conditions: Cash, J.-S.-A. Gaudry, H.C.S., Montreal, 7 July 1923.
- The Gazette (Montreal, QUE), Friday, 15 July 1938: (summary) An electrical storm hit Montreal: one killed, cellars flooded, galvanized iron roof torn from house, tree branches down and flooded streets. The iron roof was torn off the houses of 976 Sanguinet (Blanche Jutras) & 978 Sanguinet (Ferdinand Lepitre) but the wooden roof underneath was left intact.
