Obituary:  The Pontiac Daily Press (Pontiac, MI), Monday, 22 October 1928:  Rochester, Oct. 22 - Louis Peters, 70 years old, for many years a Rochester resident, died Saturday in the home on South street here, following an illness of six weeks.  He recently underwent an operation in an Ann Arbor hospital, but had been bedridden since.  Mr. Peters was born in Detroit, in 1858.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Peters, three sisters, Mrs. Lilly Champane of Seattle, Mrs. Cora Sewere, Royal Oak; Mrs. Addie Parrott, Troy; seven brothers, Eustis of Portland, Ore.; Albert, Seattle; David, Seattle; Edward, Romeo; Lester, Royal Oak; Frank, Ferndale and one other.  Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the home, with burial in Rochester cemetery.  Rev. W. H. Collycott and Rev. C. D. Oberlin will be in charge.

R. Potere Funeral Home, Rochester.  Interment, Mt. Avon Cemetery.
