Marie Emma Pitre: The Standard (St. Catherines, ONT), Thursday, 14 April 1977: Emma Mary Arsenault, 62, widow of Alfred Arsenault of 4 Alice St. died yesterday at St. Catherines General Hospital. Born in St. Louis, P.E.I., Mrs. Arsenault lived here for 30 years and was a member of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by four sons, Tilmon, Ivan and Joseph, all in St. Catherines, and Johnny, in Manitoba; a daughter, Lucy, in St. Catherines; her mother, Mrs. Edith Richards, in P.E.I.; eight brothers, Isadore Peters, Aubin and Adrian Richards, all in St. Catherines, Felix Peters, in Toronto, Pauli Peters, Fidel Richards, Guillaume Richards, Lawrence and Francis Richards, all in P.E.I., and eight grandchildren. Her husband died in 1965 and a daughter, Joyce Sulyok, died in 1974. She is at the Darte and Son Funeral Home until Saturday, then to St. Denis Roman Catholic Church. The time of funeral mass will be announced later. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours at the funeral home are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Joseph Isidore Pitre: The Standard (St. Catherines, ONT), Tuesday, 26 May 1998: Peters, Joseph Isadore - Peacefully departed on Monday, May 25, 1998, in his 82nd year, at the St. Catherines General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents, Felix and Edith and stepfather John Peter Richard. Survived by 7 brothers. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister. Beloved uncle "My" of Karen and Tom, Sharon and Millorad, Laura and Tom, John and Sandra and their children, and Lisa. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Home, St. Catherines, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel, at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
